I have an above average knowledge of English Grammar and its modern application, especially to help students keen to improve

My background was in law for some 25 years, presenting arguments, evidence and dealing with issues as diverse as criminal defence, civil litigation, and various domestic matters. Latterly, I have been working from home as a contact centre advisor for 6 years. My communication skills are excellent, but I feel unfulfilled dealing with issues connected with the technicalities of washing machines, and tumble dryers. I am able to actively listen, and will be able to analyse and resolve issues that are creating problems for the students. I possess a calm, patient nature, and I am very understanding of the difficulties our English language can present, even to those students most willing to learn. I also taught Art and drawing at College many years ago, and this certainly helps develop and improve the process of communicating. I am searching for a far more rewarding and satisfying role again, and teaching English as a foreign language, and engaging with students keen to learn, has always been one of my preferred passions. However, circumstances have prevented me from seeking out this opportunity until now. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.
