Advert description
I hold an MSc in Clinical Psychology and currently work as an Assistant Psychologist within the NHS, where I support individuals in understanding and applying psychological concepts in practical and meaningful ways. I also have experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant, which has equipped me with the ability to adapt my teaching style to different learning needs and levels. I am confident explaining theory, research methods, essay structure and exam skills clearly and accessibly.
In my lessons, I focus on creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment. I begin by understanding the student’s goals and current level, then tailor the lesson content to build knowledge step by step. I use discussion, real-life examples, guided practice and clear explanations to deepen understanding, while also encouraging critical thinking and curiosity. My aim is always to help students feel confident, engaged and able to apply what they are learning independently.
