I hold Applied Music qualification from the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI), with a strong focus on traditional music performance and education. I play regularly at Trad sessions around Scotland and abroad..

As a regular player in traditional music sessions across Edinburgh—3 to 4 times a week—I stay deeply connected to the living tradition, bringing that same spirit of community and spontaneity into my teaching.
