I approach each student as an individual with a unique way of learning. My first step is always to understand the student so that I can tailor the lessons to their needs.

I am really passionate about teaching and helping students learn. I appreciate that a lot of students feel very unmotivated by school and I think it is very important to find the topics or niches that do motivate them. Once I understand the student that I am working with, I like to get a baseline of where they are with the topic I am supporting them with. From this basic understanding of who I am working with, I can uniquely tailor my lessons and tutoring to fit with not only what they like to learn, but how they like to learn. I've found that students are most motivated to learn when you approach them with respect as a unique individual.
