Advert description
I’m a physics graduate and science communicator with an MPhys in Theoretical Physics from the University of St Andrews and an MSc in Science Communication and Public Engagement from the University of Edinburgh. My approach is to make difficult ideas clear without stripping away the real physics. I focus on building understanding from first principles, strengthening problem-solving skills, and helping students see how equations connect to the underlying concepts. My background in science writing, including scripts for PBS Space Time and articles for A Field Guide to Physics, has given me extensive experience explaining complex topics in an accessible way.
I can support students with all commonly required topics in the physics syllabus, as well as mathematics for physics, exam technique and problem-solving. Sessions are adapted to the student, whether they need help with a specific topic, want to improve confidence, or are aiming to deepen their understanding beyond the syllabus.
