History & Classics Tutor of all ages

! am an experienced and PGCE-qualified secondary school teacher in History with over 10 years in KS3 to KS5 experience teaching in both London and more recently, Dubai, UAE. As a millennial, I am passionate about building positive and authentic relationships and encouraging others As an educator, I believe that all learners can access and enjoy History. I strive for all learners to be challenged and engaged whilst equipping them with exam techniques and promoting empathy. I believe in teaching using both data to inform but also the importance of pastoral relationships that help identify students strengths and weaknesses. Before data and statistics, they are individuals. Teaching during the pandemic only deepened my love for teaching and pushed me to create more creative and enjoyable learning experiences. Now more recently teaching in Dubai, it has confirmed that teaching is my vocation and it is my goal to continue to be reflective practitioner that strives for the best for all her learners. I desire for my students to bring their experiences into the classroom and build on the knowledge that can be used in their world so that they can be the best global citizens as possible, something incredibly important in the city of Dubai.
