I have been studying with Rexleigh for several years and recently passed my Grade 8 Piano with Merit! Our lessons were a flexible mix of face-to-face sessions and Zoom calls when we could not be together. I cannot recommend her teaching enough. One of the best aspects of working with Rexleigh is the creative freedom; she encouraged me to choose pieces I truly loved while guiding me through the specific styles and nuances of each. She also introduced me to wonderful repertoire outside my usual listening habits, which broadened my musical horizons. As an adult piano pupil, I was slightly concerned about finding the right teacher for my level (almost a beginner) and I was extremely lucky to find Rexleigh. Not only is she an incredibly talented pianist, she knows how to teach (not alway a quality in pianists). She is patient and understanding, excellent at directing me, and encouraging in all my attempts and small successes. She also happens to be a delightful person and I always enjoy my time with her as I explore the piano.
