Advert description
My main strengths are my patience, communication skills, reliability and willingness to support others. I enjoy helping people understand new ideas and believe that a positive and encouraging environment can make learning much easier. Although I do not have formal tutoring experience yet, I am confident in my ability to communicate clearly, listen carefully and explain maths concepts in a simple way that younger students can understand.
I recently completed GCSE Foundation Maths, which has given me a good understanding of the topics and the challenges students may face when learning maths. I understand that every child learns differently, so I am willing to adapt my teaching style depending on each student's ability, confidence and learning pace.
I am interested in teaching children under the age of 13 because I would like to help them build a strong foundation in maths and develop confidence in their own abilities. I am patient when explaining difficult topics and I encourage students to ask questions without feeling embarrassed.
I am also organised, responsible and committed to preparing lessons that are engaging and useful. My aim is to make maths feel less challenging by breaking problems down into smaller steps and helping students understand the methods behind each answer. I am motivated to gain experience as a tutor while making a positive difference in students' learning journeys.
