With experience both at GCSE and A-Level, I have come to understand the importance of adaption in sessions in order to maximise the amount learnt. Each session begins with a mixed starter (quick-fire, functional skills, and problem-solving), followed by focused teaching and practice, and ends with review, feedback, and targeted recall.
