I start by understanding how each student thinks, then build explanations around that, using examples and step-by-step reasoning and linking it to a student's other passions. We work through any weak concepts, then some problems together, and finally practise independently to build both understanding and confidence. I adjust pace and difficulty based on progress, and encourage questions at every step so nothing is left unclear. Maths should be an engaging conversation rather than a chore.
