Offering tutoring for English Literature KS3, GCSE, and A-Level

I tailor my lessons to each individual student's needs, a skill I have picked up after three years of private tutoring. I believe that every student learns differently, so my approach focuses on identifying each learner's strengths, challenges, and goals, in order to build lessons that are engaging and effective.

I completed both English A-Level and GCSE with strong results, and am currently studying a BA in English Literature at Durham University. Through my degree, I continue to deepen my understanding of literary analysis, critical thinking, and essay writing, which allows me to support students across a range of levels and abilities.

In lessons, I aim not only to improve grades, but to build confidence. I can help students develop key skills such as analysing texts, structuring essays, improving written expression, and preparing effectively for exams. I aim to provide clear explanations and practical strategies that make learning manageable and rewarding.

My tutoring style is patient and structured. I aim to make my students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring their creative ideas, while also making consistent progress towards their academic goals.
