I am a native English and Portuguese speaker, making me bilingual. I have experience in teaching English to people of all ages

As I have completed the TEFL course, I can teach grammar, phonics as well as basic conversational English. Alongside this, I have taught students from all ages. From volunteering at my local primary school to teach young children, to teaching adults in my course- I have experience with people from all ages, backgrounds and cultures! That’s what makes this job so exciting, I love meeting new people, and developing my love for teaching. As a bilingual dual national, I empathise with the difficulties faced by non-native English speakers. Being both British and Brazilian, I can understand the specific lessons needed to teach students of different abilities, and understand the struggles of learning the grammar and phonics of English. Furthermore, I have experience teaching both basic and advanced English, as I have tutored English language and literature at GCSE and A level. Therefore, I can teach a range of students.
