I am an actor and fluent French speaker trained in Paris and Scotland. My lessons are aimed at intermediate French learners.

I hold a masters degree in Acting Classical and Contemporary Text from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and I studied and lived in Paris for two years. I frequently travel to Paris for acting work. I will teach by assigning students scenes and monologues from French plays and films along with improvisation. I have found that learning a language through play and speaking how real French speakers speak and express themselves has worked immensely well for myself and I would share this with my students. Learning something by heart so that the manner of speaking lives within you along with the ability to improvise and express one’s self through the language, and immersing in film and literature is for me the best method of learning a language, and this is what I would teach.
