Advert description
I am a bilingual French speaker who grew up speaking French at home, with family roots in the Democratic Republic of Congo and close family ties in France and Belgium. French has always been an integral part of my daily life, and this lifelong immersion allows me to teach it with authenticity, cultural insight, and confidence.
I achieved an A in my French Leaving Certificate exam, earning full marks in both the oral and aural components. Alongside my language background, I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology and am currently a medical student. I have completed clinical placements and internships in France, giving me real-world experience using French in professional, academic, and everyday settings. My psychology training has also shaped the way I teach: I understand how students learn, how to build confidence, how to reduce exam stress, and how to tailor lessons to each individual’s cognitive and emotional needs.
My students consistently perform exceptionally well. Many have achieved top grades in their French exams, often exceeding their predicted results. I have supported learners across all ability levels, including those who initially lacked confidence or struggled with grammar. Parents frequently report noticeable improvements in fluency, accuracy, motivation, and overall engagement.
I firmly believe that the best way to learn a language is to speak it. My lessons are highly interactive, focusing on conversation, practical expression, and real-life usage. Every session is tailored to the learner’s pace, goals, and comfort level. I use dynamic methods such as role-play scenarios, debates, games, quizzes, and listening activities to keep learning enjoyable and memorable. Each unit includes a short assessment to monitor progress and reinforce key skills.
All lessons are delivered online, making high-quality French tutoring accessible from anywhere. Students receive personalised guidance, structured support, and a learning environment designed to build both skill and confidence.
