My name is Melissa, and I have been playing music for over 20 years and have performed at local jazz clubs, concert halls, and private events. I studied Guitar Performance with an emphasis on Popular and Jazz styles, and I also have a Classical background on the piano.

I am a true music nerd with a deep appreciation for a VARIETY of musical styles. I'm equally at home rocking out on electric, swinging on jazz tunes, mellowing out with folk or blues, or losing myself in some Bach or Beethoven.

My teaching style is structured, innovative, and encouraging. I want to challenge you and develop your musicianship, but I also want us to laugh at our mistakes and have fun throughout the process! Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or self-taught guitarist, I would love to help you expand your skills and make notable progress! :)
