Maths Tutor teaching students of all ages

I am a probationer Mathematics teacher and have successfully completed my PGDE. I also hold a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and spent four years working as a Civil Engineer, where I used maths daily to solve real world problems.
This experience allows me to link mathematical concepts to practical applications, especially in engineering and everyday situations. I use this approach to help students understand not just how maths works, but why it matters.
I am passionate about helping learners build confidence, develop strong problem solving skills, and see mathematics as a useful and relevant subject rather than something to be feared
