I provide private lessons tailored to the needs of individual student.

With over 20 years of experience teaching geography at Gcse and A levels in the UK and more than 10 years 'experience as an external GCSE examiner, I bring extensive classroom, examination and assessment expertise to every lesson. My approach begins with careful diagnosis. I take my time to identify each students strength , misconceptions, knowledge gaps and examination skills before tailoring lessons to their individual needs. This allows me to focus out time where it will have the greatest impact. I am committed to helping students develop the knowledge, understanding, geographical skills and examination techniques they need to succeed. Lessons can be delivered online using Zoom or another suitable platform. Where appropriate, I can support students with outdoor geographical fieldwork and I am open to face to face tutoring and travel arrangements where this meets the needs of the students.
