Currently training as a hairdresser and looking for something different

My name is Emily Mundy-Dzubiev, I am 20 years old and I grew up in South London. I am currently working as a hairdressing apprentice with Headmasters hairdressing chain in Clapham High Street. I had just come back from working three amazing months abroad in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt at the end of December 2023. While I was there I met so many wonderful new people, learnt so much and grew as a person.Over my last few jobs I have gained many transferable skills such as excellent communication, good time management, quick thinking and teamwork skills. All of which are very valuable and useful skills that I've gained. I have been part of a sea scout group since I was 11 years old and have interacted and worked cooperatively with children and young people of ages 5 to 18 as part of that group. For the last four years I have volunteered with the sea scouts as well as being a member of the group. I have helped run the younger section of the group which entailed helping to organise the weekly meetings, and arranging and helping with age appropriate activities. My participation within the group has helped me also learn and gain these skills at a young age. Joining the scout group gave me the opportunities to indulge in activities such as kayaking, sailing, rowing, canoeing and power boating across the years which I have very much enjoyed and taken a liking to. I also enjoy baking, travelling, flowers, the ocean and a good coffee. I would like to think of myself as hardworking, willing and quite outgoing as I love meeting new people.
