French lessons (beginner, GCSE, A level...) with experienced tutor

Depending on individual needs/goals/target grades/areas for improvement, sessions for exam students will usually involve looking at language (de)construction to help with spoken and written communication and production. I like to encourage creativity by teaching students how to break down language components so they can build them back up and enjoy the buzz that comes from the ability to express seemingly complex ideas. Listening and reading skills are enhanced by focusing on vocab acquisition and verb drilling, and working through a wide variety of exam-appropriate resource materials.
The emphasis is placed very much on working at the student's pace and generating enthusiasm and confidence in areas of the curriculum where they feel hesitant.
I encourage students to ask, ask, ask if in doubt about anything - no question is ever silly!

I am equally comfortable teaching adults of all ages, and really enjoy helping them achieve their various language goals. Again, working at the individual's pace is central to all lessons, as is having fun!
