I have amazing communication skills after undertaking a 4 month long speech course where it enabled me to develop clear and concise explanations on the spot due to giving extempore speeches and it further expanded on my English language capabilities . I have experience creating a safe, supportive environment for people to thrive and grow due to working with YMCA which I will create when teaching to ensure that my students are completely comfortable partaking in my lessons.I also undertook training where I was taught teaching techniques such as scaffolding. The main method I will use to teach will be scaffolding as it encourages you to learn and understand the content more thoroughly , in addition to embedding the learnt content into long-term memory. I will constantly be asking questions to check on my students and to ensure that the lesson is clear and understood. At the start of the lesson I will give a brief overview on the topic of the day and will then present an interactive PowerPoint that helps students engage with the lesson and learn the content faster. At the end of the lesson I will ask the students if they needed any extra practise on anything and my focus will be to turn their weaknesses into their strengths in the forthcoming lessons before moving on to the next topic.
