About Me
Hi! My name is Álvaro. I am an Engineering graduate currently completing my Master's degree at Cranfield University.

I have always been passionate about learning and teaching. I have a very strong academic background: I graduated High School with Top Honors (Distinction) and achieved an outstanding 13.66/14 in my University Access Exams. Having also spent a year studying at a High School in the USA, I am fully fluent in English and understand what it takes to adapt to different educational systems and succeed.

Who are the lessons for?
I have over 6 years of experience tutoring students of all ages. I offer tailored support for:

Maths, Physics & Chemistry (or sciences in general): From Primary and KS3 up to GCSE, A-Level and university.

Native Spanish: For all ages and levels. Whether you are a beginner, a GCSE/A-Level student needing exam preparation, or someone looking to improve your conversational skills.

Early Years / Primary: Experience with younger children in foundational maths, reading, writing, and early language skills.

My Teaching Methodology
My approach is highly interactive and student-centred. I don't believe in just memorising formulas or vocabulary; my main goal is for the student to deeply understand the core concepts.

Interactive Learning: I create a dynamic environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.

Deep Understanding: For STEM subjects, we break down complex problems step-by-step so the logic becomes clear and intuitive.

Exam Technique: For GCSE and A-Level students, I focus heavily on exam strategies and solving past papers to build confidence.

Positive Reinforcement: I always make sure to keep students motivated and engaged, celebrating their progress.

️ Lesson Details & Format
Lesson Length: A typical session lasts 60 minutes, though this can be adjusted depending on your needs.

Location: Lessons are predominantly Online. I use interactive digital tools that make remote learning just as effective as face-to-face tutoring, offering you maximum flexibility. However, I am also available for In-Person lessons in the Cranfield village area.
