Hi, I'm Álvaro!

I am a highly motivated and approachable Engineering graduate, currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Autonomous Vehicle Dynamics and Control at Cranfield University, alongside a second Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

I have always had a profound passion for both learning and teaching. Academically, I hold myself to the highest standards: I graduated High School with a Top Honors Distinction and achieved an outstanding score of 13.66 out of 14 in my University Access Exams (placing me in the top percentile of students). I know firsthand the dedication, organisation, and study techniques required to excel, and I am passionate about passing these skills on to my students.

For over six years, I have been working as a private tutor. During this time, I have had the privilege of helping students across a wide range of ages—from primary school children taking their first steps in maths and literacy, to teenagers preparing for their crucial GCSEs equivalents and A-Levels. This extensive experience has taught me how to be patient, adaptable, and empathetic. I understand that everyone learns at their own pace, and I pride myself on creating a safe, encouraging space where making mistakes is just part of the learning process.

Furthermore, having lived and studied in the United States, I am fully fluent in English and know exactly what it is like to immerse oneself in a different culture and educational system. As a native Spanish speaker from Madrid, I also bring an authentic and practical approach to my language lessons.

I consider myself a very structured, responsible, and positive person who genuinely cares about his students' progress. Whether you are looking to conquer complex physics equations or master conversational Spanish, I am here to give you the tools and confidence you need to succeed!
