English tutor for Primary & GCSE students

Hi! Im Elina and have just completed my GCSEs. I have a huge passion for English, I love writing and reading all sorts of genres of books. I am studying English Literature this year at A-Level and would like to utilise my passion for English to help others who may struggle in various areas, such as spelling or essay structures. I would mostly tutor primary years (Year 1-Year 6) as well as early high school (Year 7-Year 8). I regularly coach junior netball teams and have participated in extra curricular tutoring at my school, therefore I believe I have the ability/experience to help younger students overcome any issues they have. I understand that English Language/Literature is quite a complex subject and therefore would tailor lessons so they are informative, but most importantly create a comfortable environment so students can have fun while they learn!

Each session will last a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of 2 hours.

My lessons will be calm and concentrated on any areas that you feel you need to improve on. If you do not have any specific areas where improvement is needed, we will simply practice practice questions and different worksheets together, identifying your strengths and weaknesses. I may set ‘homework’ tasks by emailing worksheets to you, but only if you request them or I feel it is necessary.

I am more than happy to lower my price per hour as I understand tutoring costs can build up and I genuinely just want to help others struggling with English.
