I am an electrical engineer and current PhD student passionate about making Maths simple, offering engaging online lessons
Advert description
Currently researching mathematical modelling as a PhD student, I am particularly passionate about differential equations. My academic background includes a master’s degree in control systems and an engineering degree, during which I have continuously studied and applied advanced mathematics. This strong foundation allows me to approach mathematical concepts from both a theoretical and practical perspective.
I also have previous experience providing 1:1 tutoring in mathematics, working with students of varying ages and abilities. In these sessions, I focused on breaking down complex topics such as algebra, and calculus into clear, easy-to-understand concepts tailored to each student's learning style and ability. I focus on identifying gaps in understanding, then guiding students step-by-step until they can confidently apply the concepts independently.
My teaching approach is based on clarity, patience, and engagement. I believe that any mathematical idea, no matter how advanced, can be explained in simple terms with the right examples and methods. I use real-world applications, structured practice, and interactive problem-solving to make lessons both educational and motivating.
My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also develop genuine confidence in mathematics. I focus on building problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and deep conceptual understanding, enabling students to apply their knowledge effectively to any problem. I aim to adapt my lessons to meet the unique needs of each student, ensuring they progress steadily while enjoying the learning process.
