Study Skills and Learning Coach - Former Head of Key Stage 4 and Alternative Provision

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about how I can support you or your child on an educational journey.

Whether you attend school, home educated, or simply need some extra structure and confidence, my role is to make learning manageable, motivating, and personalised. As an experienced secondary teacher, former Head of Key Stage 4, and alternative provision lead, I’ve supported learners with a wide range of needs; including pupils who are anxious, overwhelmed, disengaged, or struggling to stay organised.

I provide calm, structured sessions that focus on how to study, not just what to study. This includes practical revision techniques, organisation strategies, and confidence-building approaches that help students take control of their learning. My aim is to work alongside you as a parent, offering consistent guidance, clear communication, and a realistic plan for progress that fits your child’s personality and goals.
