Advert description
I have been tutoring and a volunteer teacher since 2023, with experience delivering lessons to students aged 6–23 through both classroom teaching and private tuition. I plan and deliver lessons across four classes, working with students of different ages, abilities and additional learning needs.
Alongside this, I provide individual GCSE and A-level tuition across different exam boards. I independently plan lessons from start to finish, creating resources and selecting exercises that reflect each student's syllabus and learning objectives.
My teaching approach is centred on understanding the individual student. I don't believe in simply repeating information or expecting everyone to learn in the same way. I break down difficult concepts, use examples to make topics easier to understand and encourage students to actively engage with what they are learning.
I can support students with subject knowledge, essay writing, exam technique, revision strategies and building confidence. Whether a student needs help catching up, wants to improve their grades or is aiming for the highest marks, I tailor my lessons to help them make meaningful progress.
I have been tutoring since 2023, working with students aged 6–23. I enjoy finding different ways to explain challenging topics and making lessons engaging, accessible and suited to how each student learns best.
My lessons are aimed at GCSE and A-level students looking to strengthen their subject knowledge, improve their grades, prepare for exams or simply feel more confident in their studies. I also welcome younger students who would benefit from additional academic support.
Whether you're aiming for the top grades or need a little extra help getting to grips with a subject, I want to create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and making progress at your own pace.
