Personalised, engaging and interactive sessions. Experience in SEN/D and SEMH. 1,000s of hours of tutoring. 100% positive feedback

Advert description
I am a Qualified Maths Teacher with a full DBS, offering online maths tutoring for students of all abilities, ranging from KS1 to KS4. Drawing from my extensive experience working with diverse groups, including SEND, Alternative Provision, home-educated, SEMH, mature GCSE students, and those with undiagnosed learning difficulties, I excel in providing highly personalised one-to-one sessions.Recognising the uniqueness of each student, I embrace a personable approach to tutoring, nurturing enthusiasm and cultivating confidence

My reviews and feedback comment on how engaging and interactive my sessions are. I have a younger brother and sister (aged 18 and 20) and being the eldest sibling is really what pushed me into teaching and tutoring. Being a young adult myself I find it easy to get on and connect with the students I work with. I am a bubbly individual and have always prided myself in how interactive my lessons are. I work with an interactive whiteboard, set meaningful follow up work and really help students with their confidence in maths. All the year 11s that have just sat their exams made at least 1 grade progress in just 4 months with me.

Before switching to tutoring full time, I worked as an academic mentor. During this time I worked with students that had been excluded, in isolation, in SEMH provisions and worked with SEN/SEND students. These include, but are not limited too, dyslexia, autism, ADHD, EAL, anxiety, chronic illness and developmental delay.
In summary, I have experience working with a diverse range of pupils and am able to adapt sessions.

Paige has been brilliant with my daughter who has additional needs. We need the camera and audio off and she’s been very understanding, working with us to get around this. Paige is kind, punctual and takes her time to explain without the feeling of being rushed on to the next step. My daughter has made progress already! Highly recommend!
