I have a Research Master's Degree in Computer Science and AI and have taught Maths, Computer Science and French in secondary schools.
I have helped students in the lowest sets pass the Foundation GCSE and I have helped Higher Tier students access the top grades.
After establishing which aspects of the curriculum we need to focus on, we will share our time between learning new concepts, challenging assessment for learning questions to probe your understanding of the concept being learnt, problem-solving questions, building up key problem-solving reflexes and skills, and practising exam questions.

I currently commute to support students within a reasonable distance of Coalville, or I can offer sessions online.
I have ongoing experience of teaching students with various needs, including for instance ASD, ADHD and selective mutism, and supporting students in re-engaging with maths or more generally with education. I am happy to teach other subjects that I am familiar with, in particular French and Spanish which I have taught previously.
