I have been teaching mathematics for the past two years at a private tutoring company, where I assist with weekly classes held every Tuesday. During this time, I have developed strong communication skills and learned how to explain mathematical concepts in a clear, engaging, and accessible way. I believe that students learn best when lessons are both enjoyable and educational, so I aim to create a positive learning environment that encourages confidence and curiosity.

In addition to my formal tutoring experience, I regularly help my younger siblings with their homework, particularly in mathematics. This has further strengthened my ability to adapt explanations to suit different learning styles and ages. As a current student myself, I understand the challenges that young learners can face and can relate to their experiences, allowing me to build strong rapport and provide patient, supportive guidance.

I currently attend Highgate School and am studying towards my GCSEs. I am on track to achieve a Grade 9 in AQA Higher Mathematics, which I will sit in Summer 2027. My strong academic background ensures that I am confident with the mathematical content I teach and able to explain topics thoroughly.

As a tutor, I would support students with homework, exam preparation, and strengthening their understanding of key mathematical concepts. I can provide additional practice questions and worksheets tailored to each student’s needs, helping them build confidence, improve problem-solving skills, and achieve their full academic potential. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop a genuine understanding and appreciation of mathematics.
