Advert description
I am a private tutor. I am a retired Research Fellow from Surrey University (1993-1994). I teach students to understand Mathematics by adapting to their ability and showing them the different ways to learn topics. For example, times tables have a pattern in them that can be illustrated. And the best way to learn time tables is to walk around quoting them. It is fun. I taught my son from the age of 5 to 12. The trick is to remove the fear and to install confidence, that it is ok to ask for a better explanation for the bit that is confusing. Even Research Fellows struggle with new concepts.
