Interest and confidence are central to my teaching. With 15+ years’ experience, including 10+ online, I tailor lessons to each learner’s age, level and goals. Beginners enjoy songs, videos, stories and role play. Intermediate learners develop skills through varied materials and interactive practice. Advanced learners explore quality reading and listening resources beyond textbooks. I use quizzes and short tests to track progress, celebrate improvement and build confidence, alongside encouraging, constructive feedback that recognises achievements and guides next steps. I create a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where interest and confidence help students thrive. Learners help shape their lessons by choosing topics and activities that reflect their needs and interests. I adapt the pace to each individual, using songs, stories, videos, role play and interactive practice, alongside wider reading and listening for advanced learners. Through quizzes, observation and constructive feedback, I assess progress, celebrate achievements and adjust lessons to support each student’s exams, assignments or personal goals.
