Every child learns differently, so I start with a short chat with parents and a relaxed first session to understand your child’s strengths, interests, needs and goals. From there, I build a personalised plan with small, clear targets. My lessons are calm, structured and multisensory. I use visual schedules, short focused tasks, movement breaks and hands-on resources, and I adapt my language and pace so your child feels successful from the start. For children with autism, ADHD or speech and language needs, I draw on strategies I use every day in school, such as visual supports, social stories and co-regulation, to reduce anxiety and keep them engaged. I follow the National Curriculum (KS1–KS2), focusing on reading, writing and maths, and I also support children learning English as an additional language. After each lesson, I give parents brief feedback so we work as a team and progress is easy to see.
