My lessons are fully tailored to your level. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced student, I meet you where you are and guide you step by step to the next stage of your development. I focus on building strong foundations through observation, structure, and a clear method. You will learn how to see correctly, draw with accuracy, and paint with confidence. Each lesson is designed to help you improve steadily, without confusion or guesswork. For beginners, we start from the basics: proportion, simple forms, light and shadow. For intermediate students, we refine structure, improve accuracy, and develop control of tone and colour. For advanced students, we focus on subtlety, atmosphere, and personal expression, strengthening your ability to work independently. I teach drawing, portrait, figure and oil painting in a practical and direct way, combining demonstration and clear explanation so you understand each step. Lessons are available online, at my studio, or at your home. If lessons take place at your home, you will need to have an easel available. A small travel fee of £10 applies for London. In all cases, the goal is to help you progress with clarity, confidence, and a solid method you can rely on.
