Advert description
I am a practising fine artist with over six years of professional childcare and teaching experience, offering tailored tuition in drawing and painting for students of all levels. My academic training includes postgraduate Fine Art study at Camberwell College of Arts and the Royal College of Art, alongside a Design degree from Chelsea College of Arts.
I specialise in observational drawing, tonal control, composition, colour theory and painterly technique. I support students preparing for GCSE and A-Level Art (including AQA, Edexcel and OCR), and I am familiar with the assessment framework of the International Baccalaureate Visual Arts programme. My guidance focuses not only on technical development, but also on strengthening conceptual thinking and portfolio coherence.

I also offer bilingual art tuition in English and Mandarin, integrating artistic vocabulary naturally into studio practice to create an immersive and culturally enriched learning experience.
My teaching approach is relaxed, playful and deeply engaging, while still maintaining clear structure and intention. I believe students learn best in an environment where they feel safe to experiment, ask questions and take creative risks. Curiosity is at the centre of my practice — lessons are designed not simply to produce outcomes, but to encourage exploration and independent thinking.
In drawing and painting sessions, I guide students through carefully structured exercises that develop observation, composition, tonal awareness and colour sensitivity. Technical skills are built progressively, but always through discovery rather than rigid instruction. Students are encouraged to reflect on their work, articulate their ideas and develop confidence in their o
