Advert description
Hi, I’m Fabiana, a London-based maths tutor with a strong academic and practical background in mathematics and engineering. I hold a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with Business Finance from UCL, where I focused on applying analytical and problem-solving skills to real-world challenges. I also completed my undergraduate studies in engineering with a focus on biofuel dynamics using AI, giving me a deep understanding of complex mathematical concepts and how to communicate them effectively.
I have experience tutoring students of different ages and abilities, from secondary school to A-levels, and I tailor my approach to each student’s needs. My goal is not just to help students improve grades, but to build confidence and develop a genuine understanding of mathematics. I use clear explanations, practical examples, and step-by-step guidance to make challenging topics approachable and even enjoyable.
In addition to formal tutoring, I have worked in educational environments such as university workshops, where I guided students through technical projects involving mathematics, physics, and engineering principles. This experience has helped me develop patience, adaptability, and the ability to explain complex ideas in a clear, accessible way.
I am comfortable teaching a wide range of maths topics, including algebra, calculus, geometry, statistics, and problem-solving strategies. Lessons can be tailored for exam preparation, homework support, or to strengthen foundational understanding. I offer both in-person sessions in London and online tutoring, whichever works best for you.
Whether you are looking to improve grades, prepare for exams, or simply gain confidence in maths, I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and explore concepts at their own pace.
Let’s work together to make maths less intimidating and more rewarding — I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
