Advert description
I’m a Physics graduate from University College London (UCL) and have completed advanced Mathematics studies at Birkbeck, University of London, achieving 90+ in modules such as Real Analysis and Abstract Mathematics. I also achieved A*A*A*A at A-level in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
With over five years’ experience tutoring Maths, Physics, and Chemistry from KS1–KS4 and A-level, I specialise in transforming uncertainty and confusion into confidence and clarity.
My lessons combine structured explanation, tailored practice, and a calm, supportive environment.
Lesson breakdown
Initial assessment & tailored plan:
We begin with a diagnostic to identify strengths and gaps, then build a bespoke learning plan tailored to each student.
I explain topics step by step, using intuitive reasoning and visual methods so that abstract ideas become clear.
Practice & exam technique:
Lessons include worked examples, past-paper questions, and mark-scheme awareness to build strong exam readiness.
I continuously monitor improvement, adapt pacing, and ensure steady progress so students develop both confidence and competence. Many of my students achieve at least one grade above their predicted outcomes.
I teach across all major exam boards and cover subject areas including:
Mathematics (KS1–A-level): algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and problem-solving
Physics (KS3–KS4): mechanics, electricity, waves, thermal physics, and conceptual understanding
Core expertise & subjects taught
Mathematics:
Algebra
Geometry
Statistics
Trigonometry
Foundational number theory
Real analysis (intro), advanced calculus (intro)
Abstract algebra basics
Prior Tutee Feedback:
“Kristina’s structured approach and clear explanations transformed my daughter’s confidence in Maths. She went from a predicted grade 5 to an 8.”
“Her lessons are incredibly well organised; she adapts the pace perfectly and never makes you feel rushed or overwhelmed.”
“Thanks to Kristina, my son finally understands Physics. His grades improved within a single term.”
