Experienced and Dedicated Piano Tutor Catering to Students of all Ages and Abilities

I am an enthusiastic and outgoing Musician, currently studying for a Masters in Ensemble Piano at the Royal Academy of Music with a scholarship, having studied Music at the University of Cambridge form-Following on from my graduation I began work at Sherborne Prep where I taught music classes to those aged 5-9, run choir rehearsals and lead ensembles, whilst also acting as a Boarding tutor in house, dedicating myself to the welfare of a large number of students, in order to help support and develop communication skills.

In my current role as a Pre-Prep Music teacher and Visiting Piano Tutor at Sherborne Preparatory School, I have honed my ability to create tailored lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and skill levels. In my lessons I will, and have successfully instructed young learners in foundational techniques while also guiding older students through more complex musical ideas, whilst keeping the love of the instrument paramount. This experience directly translates to the requirement of developing technique and building student confidence. Furthermore, my current position as an active and developing freelance pianist and accompanist has provided me with a deeper understanding of musical performance and technique, which I integrate into my lessons in order to inspire all my students.
