Advert description
I am a Senior Mental Health Professional and Coach with over 25 years of experience in health and social care, and I am the founder of Hope and Wellbeing Sanctuary — a community-centred organisation specialising in coaching, mental health, and wellbeing.
My coaching approach is rooted in social justice, evidence-based practice, positive psychology, and the philosophy of Ubuntu — recognising that our wellbeing is shaped through connection with others. I create compassionate, reflective spaces where individuals can explore their experiences, build emotional awareness, and develop meaningful, lasting change.
I specialise in supporting men’s mental health, particularly Black men, while also working with young people, families, professionals, and organisations to strengthen emotional wellbeing and psychological safety.
Through my work, I draw on a wide range of skills and approaches, including:
Emotional literacy, emotional awareness, and emotional intelligence development
Strengths-based and culturally responsive coaching
Trauma-informed and attachment-informed practice
Mindset transformation and cognitive reprogramming
Reflective practice, supervision, and mentoring
Relational and psychosocial interventions
I support individuals to better understand themselves, build healthier relationships, and develop resilience. Alongside this, I work with organisations to create psychologically safe, emotionally intelligent environments through leadership development, training, and coaching.
My work extends beyond individual coaching into community programmes, youth development, family support, and organisational wellbeing — all aimed at creating sustainable, collective change.
At the core of everything I do is a commitment to helping people heal, grow, and thrive — both individually and together.
