As an A-Level student, I teach 1-1 guided reading to students with learning difficulties and have improved their confidence.

I will create a supportive and structured environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I will break down texts into manageable steps, guide them through reading, and adapt my approach to suit the students’ preferred pace and interests. I will constantly encourage the students and consistently practice with them which has helped me in my previous experience of being a private reading support teacher where students with learning difficulties became more confident in reading aloud literature.
