I’ll give lessons to year 11s and below, I have drive for English and always have.

Personally English language has always been second nature to me. I firmly believe all a student needs is the correct structure and it’s as a breeze. Around year 8 I started enjoying English language as I believed it was somewhat common sense with room for interpretation. I will do remote learning which includes calls, availability to message when not in calls, and I will go through one by one each question that comes up on both language papers. I will go through past papers and ensure my student not only understands the concept but enjoys it! I’m in the process of teaching 2 of my younger cousins, one is 12 and the other is 13. They are the usual teenagers, low attention span, tired, demotivated. I hate to call them out but last year they both were on a 5 in language. I’m proud to say after 1 year of tutoring them, the 13 year old has gone up to an 8 and the 12 year old has gone up to a 7. I know I can help other children enjoy and put their talents into this subject.
