Advert description
The two qualities to have that I believe are the most important for teachers who teach are: the sensitivity to be able to sense, and the dynamic ability to be able to adapt in order to meet each student with a bridge of understanding at their specific level and needs at any particular moment.
I am a self-taught autodidact polymath and polyglot, interdisciplinary scholar and researcher. I always emphasize to my students that all study is self-study whether they realize it or not; I give them proven strategies and techniques to improve their practical English-language speaking and writing capabilities on their own that I can guarantee always work.
I have a B.A. in Linguistics, and am currently engaged in private academic research while on hiatus from an M.A. / PhD program in Archaeology / Assyriology / Egyptology / Bible-Research at Hebrew University.
I also am a self-taught computer programmer/developer, and I can teach (or discuss as tutoring subjects) English, Hebrew, math/algebra, computer programming/coding, astronomy, etc. I enjoy tutoring others for the additional reason that it allows me to always learn new subjects with the students in their chosen field of study.
