Private tutor offers classes for all primary school subjects

Hi, I'm Elena Gómez Fernández and I'm 23 years old. I'm from Granada (Spain). Last June I finished my degree in Bilingual Primary Education (English) at the University of Granada.
I consider myself a sociable person, generous, curious and eager to learn, knowledgeable about the world around me, responsible, attentive to people, open to new experiences and with the purpose of leaving the world better than I found it.

To know a little more about my professional career; during my university years I have worked as a private tutor in all kinds of subjects, focusing on English speaking subjects (English, Science) with children between the ages of 6 and 17 years old. I found it very rewarding as I had the opportunity to put all my new knowledge, skills and methods into practice. I try to adapt the classes to the interests and knowledge of each student, thus achieving a dynamic and entertaining learning experience. I have recently had experience within the International School of Granada where I had the opportunity to do my internship and worked there as a substitute teacher for hours in all kinds of subjects (English, Science, Maths, Spanish Language, Art and Citizenship). I thoroughly enjoyed teaching 3rd and 4th grades and the challenges that came with it for 5 months. My first internship was in a school in Finland and I was able to learn many new methodologies and resources. I lived there for one academic year, and studied at the University of Lapland where I majored in English. Finally, this past summer, I have been an English instructor at a camp in the Italian Alps.

For all these reasons I believe that my passion and enthusiasm for education and languages together with my pedagogical skills would be a great contribution to the learning of students
