Experienced & Qualified Maths Teacher - Secondary Year 7 -11

I am an experienced and qualified teacher of mathematics. I tutor secondary school pupils from years 7 to 11, mainly key stage 4 ( year 10 and 11) and have a track record of achieving excellent results at GCSE level. In terms of lessons, depending on what the purpose for starting lessons is, i can either follow the school curriculum to reinforce what has been covered in school or to address any misconceptions. Or can have an assessment type lesson to begin with where we look at a variety of different topics to get a better understanding of level then start to work on the topics going forward. Some year 11 students tend to know what they want to work on so this can be decided at the start of the lesson if need be. Maths can be a tough subject for a lot of people and a little extra help can go a long way. I have had the privilege to help many students achieve their goals over the years.
