English and Italian tutor

Hello! My name is Michela. I'm originally from Italy and I've lived in London for more than 10 years. I have a passion for languages and literature, art and cinema. I also love music and dancing (reggae, blues and flamenco are my favourite styles).
I have recently obtained a degree in law and human rights and I am very much interested in all aspects of the English language and culture.
I also speak Arabic and have studied the literature and calligraphy of this beautiful language.
I have been teaching English privately and for institutions for 10 years, including editing literary pieces for publications.
The needs of my students are central for how I prepare my classes, so I will taylor the content and methodology according to the goals we want to achieve together. For example, I have recently taught two courses for trainee Health and Social care workers, focusing on the vocabulary and expressions that are useful in that field.
I have a wide knowledge of English law, literature and linguistics so I aim at placing the English language in its culture and social use. In my classes, I will therefore include references to music, literature, and society from both the UK and the rest of English speaking countries.
