I’m an experienced, qualified teacher with a degree in English Language and Literature from Durham University and a PGCE in Further and Adult Education. I have over 20 years’ experience teaching adults and young people in further education, including GCSE English Language and Literature, Functional Skills, ESOL, Academic English and Access to HE. My lessons are friendly, practical and tailored to your goals. I can help with exam preparation, essay writing, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, academic writing and spoken confidence. I also offer beginner Portuguese for learners who want a clear, practical introduction to the language.
