As a former home educated student, I am deeply passionate about personal tutoring as I believe it can unlock potential in a way that large classroom teaching cannot always do. Furthermore, I am deeply passionate about English because I believe it forms the foundation upon which so many other subjects and life skills are created. I have a wealth of experience working with ages 11 to 18 through my work as an 11+ tutor, teaching assistant and exam invigilator since 2020.

At GCSE I was awarded a 9 (Eng Lit), 9 (Eng Lang) and 8 (Citizenship/ Politics).
At A-Level I was as awarded A* (Eng Lit), A* (Politics) and A (Eng Lang)
I hold a High Upper Class BA in English and Politics from the University of York.
I am fully DBS Checked and certified in Level 2 Child Protection Training.

I provide one to one sessions with pupils aged 14 to 18 studying English Lit, Lang or Politics with UK examination boards. My lessons are tailored towards students of all abilities and academic goals, so we can work together to find lesson plans, revision techniques and exam prep that works best for you. I am also available to assist and advise students in their university applications, cover letters and scholarship applications for an additional fee. (At the moment I am only offering lessons online however this may change).
