A* STUDENT of 11+, GCSE and A-Level English, Latin, and History offering all ability tutoring, guaranteed success

After achieving a Grade 9 (A*) in all 12 of my GCSEs, I continued with my passion for English Literature and Language, History, and Latin at A-Level, achieving A*A*A.

My USP is my age - I understand the exams very well as I have only recently completed them, and so know all the tips from a student's perspective.

I have the privilege of studying English Literature at University of St Andrews, which is now overtaking both Oxford and Cambridge in the UK University rankings across many sources, consistently coming out as either the best or 2nd/3rd best university in the UK.

I was also the Head of English at school and regularly provided help for younger students across English, History, and Latin pre-GCSE, GCSE, and A-Level peers. I have previously tutored a Russian student through his GCSE English Language and a Year 9 student in poetry for a year. I make English analysis videos for current exam students on their set texts, commissioned by my teachers. I have also compiled mock past-papers and made PowerPoints on various texts. I would be very happy to send any of these to get a flavour of my work. I do all exam boards as there is a universal English mark scheme, but specialise in AQA, Edexcel
Pearson, and Cambridge.

For History, my specialist subjects are German and Tudor history and I have compiled several high quality revision resources for these. My comprehensive summary guides that I created at A Level have been monetised online and are listed on many different revision resource websites, however choosing me as a Superprof tutor allows exclusive FREE access to these summary sheets and date tables. I do all exam boards but specialise in AQA A Level (German and Tudor history) and Edexcel Pearson iGCSE (Cold War, USSR, US, Middle East).

For Latin, having been in contact with John Taylor, the Principal Examiner for OCR Latin exams and author of the textbooks, I have gained access to mark rubrics and also additional textbooks that involve some digging to find! I use these to help set my students apart as well as compiling most common vocabulary sheets and curating tailored past papers. Again I offer all exam boards, but specialise in OCR. For A Levels, I did Cicero and Virgil, so offer focused tutoring on either of these 'set texts.'

In the future, I hope to become a teacher and so helping other students is a key skill I wish to develop.
