As a native spanish speaker I’ve been tutoring GCSE and A-level Spanish students! I am currently in my last year of university studying History and Spanish joint Honours and on my journey towards a Masters in Education.

I’ve been teaching Spanish for the past 5 years since I was in sixth form and one thing I realised is that language is not like the subject that you can slightly get away with by memorising. With language learning you get better the more you practice it. My lessons are highly focused more on the speaking component of the language. I want my students to get comfortable speaking the language and immersing in it. If they can master the speaking component the grammar and writing component will be a lot easier. Having say this to say that my lessons unlike my most of my peers are more practical than theory. By the end of the journey my students should be confident Spanish speakers close to that of natives.
