Maths tutoring up to and including A-Levels. Online and in-person

I have a Bachelor's degree in mathematics and music. I have over 2 years experience tutoring a wide range of ages from young children to adults. I can offer lessons online from £25 per hour, and in-person from £30 per hour. I can offer 30-90 minute long lessons. I can provide homework to complete outside of lessons if desired.

Price Breakdown:
Primary Level: £25/hour
GCSE: Online - £25/hour, In-person - £30/hour
A-Level: Online - £30/hour, In-person - £35/hour

Lesson Breakdown:
Lessons would be planned based around the students' needs/goals, with space to work on any problems from the week. I can provide optional homework sheets to complete between lessons - if these are not initially desired, after a few lessons I will review whether I believe the student would strongly benefit from them or not, and suggest reconsidering accordingly. In general I will usually only recommend homework sheets for GCSE and A-Level.

I can provide online lessons or in-person lessons if suitable at a slightly higher cost (no price difference for primary level), and I am based in the Cardiff area.

Primary level lessons would generally consist of helping the student to understand/consolidate their understanding of what they have learnt that week in school, however at request I can provide topic to topic lesson plans instead. I will not usually recommend weekly homework sheets for this level, as they will likely be receiving enough from their school, however I will suggest it if I believe the student to be particularly struggling with a topic or in general, and irrespective of ability, I can provide a homework sheet per topic if desired.

Secondary level lessons would be more structured, with planned lessons based around one or two topics at a time (depending on the complexity) and plenty of practice questions as the most effective way to learn mathematics is to just do it. I will generally provide one homework sheet per topic, though this can be omitted or increased on request. Around exam time, I will provide past exam papers for the student to complete or partially complete during the week, so that we can go over the answers and clear up any mistakes in the lesson.
