I am a highly qualified and experienced primary teacher and former headteacher in two independent schools with nearly 30 years of expertise in the field of education. Although now retired, I am still as passionate about teaching and nurturing young minds as I ever was. I am able to teach across the entire age range, specialising in tutoring children in English and Maths. I am able to teach English as an additional language, developed through 8 years of experience in International Schools. I strive to enable each child to reach their full potential, adept at stretching the attainment of higher-ability children and securing the progress of those struggling academically. Each child is unique, so each tutoring session is tailored according to their needs, gradually building their confidence through scaffolding, encouragement, challenges, and ultimately fostering independence.
